📋 Overview

CareLeo is a family caregiving coordination app developed by MachF5ve Studios ("we," "our," or "us"). CareLeo helps caregivers manage care recipients' information, medications, tasks, schedules, and coordinate with family members through features like Family Circle and the Leo AI companion.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

📦 Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Authentication).

Care Recipient Information: You may enter information about care recipients, including names, medical conditions, medications, doctor names and contact information, emergency contacts, and care-related notes. This data is stored in your secure Supabase account.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data such as app interactions, crash logs, and performance metrics through Sentry for the purpose of improving app stability and performance.

AI Interaction Data: When you interact with Leo, the AI caregiving companion, your messages are processed through third-party AI providers (Anthropic and Groq) to generate responses. We do not store conversation logs beyond your current session.

• To provide and maintain the CareLeo app and its features
• To manage care recipient profiles, medications, tasks, and schedules
• To enable Family Circle coordination between caregivers
• To power the Leo AI companion's caregiving assistance
• To send notifications related to care tasks and schedules
• To monitor and improve app performance and fix bugs
• To process subscription payments through Google Play

🤝 Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with the following service providers solely to operate the app:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication
• Anthropic & Groq — AI processing for the Leo companion
• Sentry — error tracking and crash reporting
• Google Play — app distribution and subscription billing

🛡️ Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information using industry-standard security practices. Your data is stored securely through Supabase with row-level security policies, and authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

🧒 Children's Privacy

CareLeo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Note: Care recipients may include children, but the app accounts are managed by adult caregivers.

⚙️ Your Rights & Data Control

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your account information at any time
• Delete care recipient profiles and associated data
• Remove yourself from a Family Circle
• Request a complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us

💳 Subscriptions & Payments

CareLeo offers free and paid subscription tiers. All payments are processed through Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Google Play.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
